What is LifeImprovements?

We wish to provide life skills that would enhance the communication in relationships to all individuals. We maintain that taking our classes can and is restructuring our community one person, couple & family at a time. Both Jennifer & I have been certified as facilitators in various courses (i.e. Mastering the Mysteries of Love - MML, Ready for Love - RFL, Flourishing Families - FFP).

MML is a 16 hour class. We have been teaching MML since January 2010 for a total of seven classes scheduled into the month of August. We have been trained as coaches in the MML program and are now certified to train coaches for required help in these classes as well. MML is a class for couples or singles. Participants of the MML class receive a workbook, and lunch on both days. MML participants can also optionally choose to receive phone coaching for up to 8 weeks.

We intend on scheduling and marketing FFP Classes beginning in September of 2010. FFP is a class designated for a specific target group. Specifically for couples that are unmarried, mothers that are either pregnant or have a child 3 months old or younger, low income, and at least 17 years old. Couples who complete this 15 hour course will receive $100 and a graduation certificate. Participants also receive meals, play care and transportation stipends.

RFL classes are very similar to the MML course however designed specifically for singles.

Other classes we teach include, but are not limited to: PICK - a - Partner, PHALT - A Path to Wellness, 10 Greatest Dates, PAIRS, Smart Steps (stepfamilies), Connections, Couplehood. We also offer marriage and pre-marriage and fatherhood mentoring.

As we know that fatherhood is the key role in the family linked to success of future generations. We also know that it takes a team to raise children in our society. Fatherhood and the skills required to be a father are modeled throughout each of our programs. All leading to responsible fatherhood, healthy marriages and economic stability.

I have been a self employed computer/networking consultant for more than 17 years now. I am also the proud father of eight amazing children. Currently we organize, market and teach the MML class. Being a technical person myself, I am consistently trying to stay abreast of new technology. I am new to this arena and would embrace opportunities to learn how better serve our participants. I am always available to learn new things. We would love an opportunity to come and share how these skills can affect and promote a positive environment in the workplace as well.

We hope to empower others with the vision that we truly need to work together as a community to continue the upward trend that we are seeing through our joint efforts. It would be through the generous donations of purpose oriented organizations and private donations of time and resources that will be required to keep this dream alive and prosperous.
